Make a Splash at the City Springs Splash Pad!

Warmer weather means it’s time to cool off and have fun at the City Springs Splash Pad! Located on the south side of the City Green, this interactive water play area is a favorite summer destination for families. Children of all ages can enjoy refreshing fun in a safe and engaging environment.

Seasonal Hours of Operation:

The Splash Pad is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, typically beginning just before Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting.

Location Details:

The Splash Pad is conveniently situated between the covered picnic area and public restrooms, just off Mount Vernon Highway. It’s easily accessible for families enjoying all that City Springs has to offer.

Water Activation System:

To promote water conservation, the Splash Pad features a manual activation button, which starts a 30-minute water play cycle. If the water is off, simply press the button to begin a new cycle.

Safety First – Important Guidelines:

  • Adult Supervision Required: All children must be supervised by a responsible adult while using the Splash Pad.

  • Swim Diapers Required: Children who are not toilet-trained must wear swim diapers at all times.

  • No Fountain Access: Please do not play or swim in the adjacent decorative fountains – these are not designed for recreational use.

  • Proper Footwear Recommended: Water shoes are encouraged to prevent slipping or foot irritation.

  • No Pets, Glass, or Rough Play: For everyone’s safety, pets and glass containers are not permitted in the Splash Pad area. Roughhousing, running, or unsafe behavior will result in removal from the area.

Water Quality & Sanitation:

The City Springs Splash Pad uses a state-of-the-art water filtration and sanitation system, including:

  • Automated chlorination and chemical monitoring.

  • Continuous water quality checks.

  • Routine maintenance and inspections by trained staff.

These measures ensure a clean, safe, and healthy play environment for all users.
