Bitsyland

The mission of the Bitsyland String Band is to share their God-given talents to bring the gifts of music and laughter to many different audiences by keeping alive the traditions of old-time music and wholesome entertainment.

Lauran Hunt

Lauran Hunt is a solo fingerstyle guitarist that plays classical, jazz, blues, and rock music. From Bach to Ellington to Sting and more, all played with a smooth soothing style.

Lonesome Redwing

Lonesome Redwing features bluegrass and old-time fiddle classics, as well as fresh original material. Kathy, Russell, and Ellen are all natives of Georgia, and are multi-instrumentalist as well as songwriters. Lonesome Redwing has opened for many legendary performers, including Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, Claire Lynch, Patty Loveless, and the Steep Canyon Rangers.

Joel Keeley

Joel Keeley is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter from Philadelphia, PA. Between his cutting-edge guitar playing and unique eclectic styles and charismatic stage presence, he’s become quite an act. Don't miss it!

Rick Stone

Rick Stone is a nationally-touring, real country troubadour! Whether solo, as a duo, or with The Band of Brothers, he delivers hard drivin’ country tunes with hints of rock, blues, and bluegrass. Rick’s first single, “Me and You” aired in 2009 to wide critical and audience acclaim. His new full-length album ‘Home’ is a collection of original songs including fan favorites “This Ole Road”, “I’m Your Man” and “Never Started Drinking.”

GC/DC

Dina & Gary Chumney with GC/DC Studios are Sandy Springs music instructors who teach voice, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, piano, percussion, and drums to students of all ages! GC/DC students perform in a variety of local venues and are thrilled to be back at the Sandy Springs Farmers Market!

Dennis Flynn

Dennis Flynn is a Sandy Springs resident and a member of the Sandy Springs-based cover band, My Favorite Baldwin. The band has performed at Meehan’s and now O’Reilly’s many times over the years. In addition, My Favorite Baldwin has played multiple gigs across Atlanta, as well as Braves games and other Sandy Springs events.   

 

September 30 – NO MARKET

Blue Stone Arts and Music Festival

The Market will be closed due to the reimagine and amplified Heritage Sandy Springs Arts Festival now known as the Blue Stone Arts and Music Festival! The two-day event will be held in the City Springs District which includes the City Green, Blue Stone Road, and the surrounding area. The festival will feature 2 music stages, an Artist Market with over 100 vendors, a Kids Zone, and more! Top National musical acts will perform nightly.

Because we believe trained dogs are happier, healthier, and lead more fulfilled lives, our easy-to-follow curriculum makes learning intuitive and fun for dogs and humans alike.

Non-Profit Engagement Day

SSCRT's vision is to provide an opportunity for non-profit leaders in Sandy Springs to come together to help build community and strengthen the non-profit sector to meet the needs of Sandy Springs Citizens. This is a chance to share Sandy Springs nonprofits organizations with the community – who they are, what they do and how one can get involved. Their desire is to let our community know about the many and diverse Sandy Springs nonprofits that support our families, children, environment, the arts and so much more. 

Caricature Artist

A quick and talented artist will draw amusing a lovable picture of you to make you laugh and smile!

Little Diggers

This weekend, participants will learn about growing lettuce and different trees of lettuce. Each participant will take home a container of lettuce to grow and eventually harvest for their own salad. Little Diggers is a FREE Family Gardening Series about the fascinating world of horticulture and gardening, presented in partnership with the North Fulton Master Gardeners and in cooperation with UGA Extension in Fulton County. Little Diggers is for kids with accompanying adult. 

Environment Sandy Springs

Environment Sandy Springs is an environmental nonprofit advocating for a deeper understanding of the vital role the environment plays in sustainable growth in urban cities.

ESS helps preserve, conserve and restore tree canopy, streams, springs, wildlife, pollinators, habitat and all the remaining wild places in urban cities by gleaning best practices, proposing policy changes and reaching out to the community with easy and effective ways to have local impact.

Abernathy Arts Center

Want your child’s art to be the 2024 Sandy Springs Farmers Market brand and be promoted on giveaways during the 2024 Season? Come visit the Abernathy Arts Center and let their creativity go wild! Judging will take place at the end of October and will be announced at the end of the 2023 season.
