Jeannie Caryn

Jeannie Caryn, driven by her passion to capture and celebrate the human experience through story and song, has several projects that allow her to share her creative endeavors: Jeannie released her first album of original music, MOTHER’S SELF-RISING in February 2021. The album was produced by Grammy Award Winning Producer/Guitarist-Texturalist, Larry Mitchell, in his Chocolate Room Studio in Opelika, Alabama.

She also self-produced a Christmas album entitled MERRY CHRISTMAS in December 2023, and she released another self-produced album of love songs, entitled, LOVE IN AN RV, in February 2024. She is now set to release a third album, THE NEST, in June 2024!

Lapidus & Myles

Micah Lapidus and Melvin Myles collaborate to create a model for all people of conscience who understand that we are better together and need each other. Their music and message is infused with a spirit of love, respect, peace, and justice.

GC/DC

Dina & Gary Chumney with GC/DC Studios are Sandy Springs music instructors who teach voice, guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, piano, percussion, and drums to students of all ages! GC/DC students perform in a variety of local venues and are thrilled to be back at the Sandy Springs Farmers Market!

Taylor So

Taylor So is an Asian American acoustic pop artists who is just starting on her music journey. she loves playing songs by her favorite artists and her own original songs. Taylor hopes that her music will mean something to anyone that hears it.

Brandon Baker

Brandon’s love of music started at an early age. His friends and family will tell you he’s always shining. As an adult, God’s gift of music was evident in his life and he began singing in church, which he continued to do for over 25 years. Brandon moved to Georgia in 2021 where he has decided to branch out and pursue becoming a solo musician. His hope is the music he performs brings as much joy to the people listening as it brings to him performing.

Adam Shavin

A guitarist since the age of 7, Adam Shavin has grown into his own unique sound. Combining elements of indie rock and blues and delivered in the form of semi-improvised loop compositions, Adam's music is easy to settle into and always remains fresh.

Lauran Hunt

Lauran Hunt is a solo fingerstyle guitarist that plays classical, jazz, blues, and rock music. From Bach to Ellington to Sting and more, all played with a smooth soothing style.

Veronika Jackson

Veronika Jackson is the grassroots of American Folk Music.

" What an Exceptional Talent. With Her Voice and Guitar - She Sings Her Heart Out, She Sings Like It's Her Last Performance...."

Veronika has combined acoustic folk music and R&B to create her own unique music. She has shared her musical talents with audiences in through the south and northeastern states, as well as with music lovers across the Atlantic ocean where she has performed for various venues and festivals.

SHARK Club is dedicated to cultivating a passion for service and community involvement among students. By organizing fundraising efforts, they support vital environmental initiatives and community engagement projects. Guided by the motto, "Service Before Self," SHARK Club is committed to fostering a culture of empathy, responsibility, and kindness within North Springs and the broader community. They are thrilled to collaborate with the Sandy Springs Farmers Market, expanding their reach and impact as they continue to champion environmental and community initiatives!

Sandy Springs Fire Department – Fire Prevention Month Kick Off

The Sandy Springs Fire Department is committed to the lives and safety of its residents. We provide various trainings and educational classes in hopes to better equip our neighbors of all ages with the necessary tools needed to promote a conscious effort to fire safety. During Fire Prevention Month, the department will provide not only tools and information to raise fire safety awareness and help protect homes and families, but also proper child safety seat installation and usage. This includes areas set up to show the benefits of:

Testing and changing smoke alarm batteries
Using a fire extinguisher
Planning escape routes
Proper CPR techniques
And more….

Little Diggers

Come help get the birds ready for fall by making a bird seed feeder. Participants will have an opportunity create bird feeders out of materials such as pipe cleaners, cereal, fruit, birdseed, and pinecones. This will be the last Little Diggers activity for the season. Little Diggers is for kids with accompanying adults.

Little Diggers is a FREE Family Gardening Series about the fascinating world of horticulture and gardening, presented in partnership with the North Fulton Master Gardeners and in cooperation with UGA Extension in Fulton County.

Environment Sandy Springs

Environment Sandy Springs is an environmental nonprofit advocating for a deeper understanding of the vital role the environment plays in sustainable growth in urban cities.

ESS helps preserve, conserve and restore tree canopy, streams, springs, wildlife, pollinators, habitat and all the remaining wild places in urban cities by gleaning best practices, proposing policy changes and reaching out to the community with easy and effective ways to have local impact.
