City Springs parking options include the underground parking garage, and above ground South Lot, street parking and valet parking.

Parking Schedule and Event Rates

Event rate parking occasionally goes into effect to coincide with upcoming events that significantly increase the demand for parking. Event rate parking is announced two weeks in advance and is listed in the daily parking rate information.

Parking in the Underground Garage

The underground parking garage can be accessed via two entrances:

Underground Garage Rates

First 2 Hours - Free
2-3 Hours - $4
3-4 Hours - $6
4-5 Hours - $8
5-8 Hours - $10

Lost Ticket - $24

Card payment only — no cash payments are accepted. Take a ticket upon arrival and keep it with you. You will need your ticket to exit the garage. If payment is required, you can either pre-pay at a payment kiosk or when you exit.

Parking on the Street or in the South Lot

Street parking is available throughout City Springs and there is also a surface lot called the South Lot (Google Maps).

Street and South Lot parking is controlled by the city. Free parking is only available if you register your vehicle on arrival. If you don't register, the city will issue you a parking ticket.

Parking Registration

After parking your vehicle, look for a nearby parking rate sign and either scan the QR code with your mobile device or follow the instructions to receive a website link via text message. On the website, you will be prompted to enter your phone number, license plate number, and estimated duration of stay. When you select a 1 or 2 hour stay, there will be no charge. For longer stays, you will need to enter payment information. After registration, you will receive a confirmation via text message with a link to extend your stay. You can choose to extend your stay at any time.

City Springs offers valet parking options for your convenience. Rates are times are listed in the Parking Schedule.

Retail Valet Parking

Valet parking is generally available near our restaurants and retailers Tuesday-Saturday, 5pm-11pm.

During certain events, a Valet parking is also available at the Galambos Way roundabout next to the Performing Arts Center.

Accessible Parking

There are accessible parking spaces in the underground parking deck located near the blue, green and purple elevators.

For events at the Heritage Amphitheatre such as Movies by Moonlight and Concerts by the Springs, accessible parking is available at the venue. The address is 6110 Blue Stone Rd.

City Sponsored Parking

There will be free parking in the parking deck provided by the City of Sandy Springs for the Sparkle Sandy Springs Parade and Holiday Celebration on December 7, 2025.

Parking FAQ

General

Why did the on-street parking process change at City Springs?  

The updated parking system was implemented to encourage turnover and ensure convenient access for all patrons and businesses. The first two hours remain free under the new system, but all vehicles must register upon parking. 

Who manages the parking at City Springs?  

12 Oaks manages the parking system at City Springs, including the on-street, garage and valet parking.  

Parking Rules & Enforcement

What are the hours of enforcement?  

Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The City of Sandy Springs has sponsored parking for Juneteeth Celebration, June 19, 2025; Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration, July 4, 2025; and Sparkle Sandy Springs Parade and Holiday Celebration on December 7, 2025. During those events, parking in the parking garage and on-street is free. 

I am staying for less than an hour, do I still have to register?  

Yes, all vehicles must be registered for on-street parking and have an active parking session, regardless of the duration of parking. 

What happens if I don’t register?  

Vehicles that don’t register may receive a citation pursuant to Sec. 58-121 and 58-122 of the Sandy Springs Code of Ordinances.  

What happens if I stay longer than anticipated?  

As the parking session approaches expiration, you will receive a text message with the option to extend the time. Vehicles that remain parked beyond the paid duration without extension may be subject to a citation. 

What if I don’t have a smart phone?  

The City is currently installing kiosks to allow patrons to register without a smartphone. Alternatively, you may choose to park in the parking garage.  

Do businesses validate parking?  

The City of Sandy Springs provides garage parking validation for official City business and events held at City Hall. For validation, please visit the City Hall Security Desk. For other locations, check with individual businesses in City Springs to see if they offer validation. 

Is there a limit on the number of free parking sessions per day? 

Visitors are allowed one (1) free two-hour parking session in any 24-hour period with the same license plate.

What if I experience a technical problem?

I visit frequently, will the system store my information or do I need to register each time?  

Yes. You must register each time you park, including if you plan to stay under two hours.  

Citations or Appeals

I received a citation – how do I pay or appeal?  

You have 15 days from the issue date to pay or appeal this citation. To pay online with a credit or debit card at ParkingInvoice.com (preferred). By Mail with check or money order to the below address. Make checks payable to Sandy Springs Parking Department. Include Citation # and plate # on check or money order. Postmark will be used as date of payment. DO NOT SEND CASH IN MAIL.
