reDiscover Your Weekends at City Springs!

Tis' the Season to reDiscover Your Weekends at City Springs!

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (March 22, 2021) - We've experienced a year unlike any other. As we start to ease back out and begin to socialize again, it's time to reDiscover events, live music, and the strength and resilience of our community. The City of Sandy Springs announced today the return of three favorite community events: Sandy Springs Farmers Market, City Green Live, and Concerts by the Springs.

"It has been a long, difficult year. While we still have work to do to put COVID past us, we are optimistic about its progress. We are very excited to be able to bring back these three outdoor weekend activities. We still have health safety measures in place as we ease back into events, but an exciting step as we rediscover community," said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul.

SANDY SPRINGS FARMERS MARKET

As spring ushers in longer days, warmer temperatures, and reawakens all things green in our beautiful city, it is the perfect time to celebrate the new season with what's in season at the Sandy Springs Farmers Market. Reunite with longtime vendors, get to know the new vendors participating in the market for the first time, and enjoy an open-air, safe way to shop!

The Sandy Springs Farmers Market will take place Saturday mornings (rain or shine) at the City Green at City Springs. Market hours are from 8:30 a.m. until noon, April 17 through September 25, and from 9 a.m. until noon, October 2 through November 30.

Safe Shopping

The layout on the City Springs campus allows for an expanded footprint, which creates increased spacing between vendor booths, encouraging social distancing. Other safety measures include touchless purchasing transactions with credit cards; no cash, please. Wearing masks is required while on City property. Hand sanitizers are available at vendor booths, and vendors are required to follow City-approved cleaning protocol. We will continue to monitor conditions and expand the market as we are able.

CITY GREEN LIVE AND CONCERTS BY THE SPRINGS

Birds will be whistling a new tune, possibly in duet, with the great lineup scheduled for both City Green Live and Concerts by the Springs. These popular concert series return this spring with lineups including nationally known artists, local acts, and spot-on tribute bands. A limited number of free tickets will be available in pods of four for each series.

Tickets can be reserved beginning March 22 through the citysprings.com website. Beginning April 30, the Box Office at City Springs reopens Tuesday through Friday from 12 noon – 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Box Office is also open during any concert.
