Roswell Dance Theatre's The Nutcracker

November 28 - December 7, Join Roswell Dance Theatre for an iconic holiday tradition. This classic interpretation of The Nutcracker, beloved by Atlanta-area families, is directed by Nancy Tolbert Yilmaz, Mary Lynn Taylor and Kassandra Taylor Newberry. Gorgeous costumes, magical scenery, treasured music and exquisite dancing will delight audience members of all ages. 

As Clara’s dreams come to life, Herr Drosselmeier magically transforms her Nutcracker doll into a Prince. Accompanied by her handsome escort, Clara enters a fantastical new world now taking shape about them and they find themselves entering the Land of Snow…

The talented cast includes world-class artists alongside aspiring young professionals from Roswell Dance Theatre, the performing company of the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance.   

At the conclusion of the festivities, Clara and her Prince are bid a happy farewell as the dancers wave goodbye to the fantasies that must fade away with her dream. This reverie will await Clara’s return next Christmas – and she will always have her Nutcracker! 

The ten-performance run includes four Character Meet & Greets, group sales for community groups and an extensive Nutcracker-themed gift boutique to find the perfect souvenir.
