City Makes Changes to Outdoor Events

In keeping with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s Executive Order lifting mandatory distancing and other COVID-19 restrictions, the Sandy Springs City Council has shifted the outdoor concert seating format to allow for greater participation at City Green Live concerts.

Last month, the City announced the return of City Green Live concerts at City Springs, with attendees required to secure tickets to control the number of individuals on the lawn. The City is removing the ticket requirement, opening lawn seating for all.  In addition, the City is re-introducing tables for sale, with those tables available beginning April 23 at noon.  The cost is $60 for a table for six and $40 for a table of four.

While social distancing and mask-wearing are no longer mandatory, signage to “Stay Safe to Stay Open” will be on-site, serving as a reminder of CDC public health safety guidelines.   The City will continue to monitor closely public health information and make adjustments as needed for future events.
