Davis & the Love
Davis & The Love is the brainchild of frontman Nate Davis (NAKD, KBM, KontraBand Muzik) who, along with some of Atlanta's finest musicians, come together to create a sound that combines classic elements of the past, with today's modern pop soundscape. The "Old School meets New School" vibe is one that's been honed not only through their live shows but in their featured original material, as well. Davis commands emotion, energy, and rawness on stage, providing an entertaining and engaging experience that is sure to keep the dance floor moving. Each show is a musical ride featuring Top 40 classics from all eras (including Motown, 80's Pop, 90's R&B/Hip-Hop and today's favorites), intertwined with original music from Davis' debut album, "Future Retro Love Story." Watch the past, present and future collide on stage, and find out for yourself why audiences are falling head over heels for Davis & The Love.
Alex Rodiek, bandleader and trumpeter, officially launched Funk Cake in November of 2016. They have been quietly gaining notoriety as one of Atlanta’s sought after bands. Comprised of top call freelancers, Funk Cake brings the sizzle to their live shows by combining genre-bending arrangements with virtuosic soloing. You can catch them rocking out, especially during Mardi Gras season, or performing at some of the best known venues in Atlanta. They are regulars and fan favorites at the Copper Coin in downtown Woodstock, GA, the Peachtree Road Farmer’s Market in Atlanta, Copeland’s of Kennesaw, and Arches Brewing in College Park. They have showcased at the historic Smith’s Olde Bar, MadLife Studios, and Ponce City Market and have been featured on Fox Morning News 5. Funk Cake also had the pleasure of performing a private party for the one and only Robert Downey Jr.
