March 18, 20228:00pm
Music aficionados will enjoy musicians brought to Sandy Springs from around the metropolitan area and beyond.
Atlanta's most versatile jazz musician brings an assortment of instruments (saxes, violin, clarinets, flutes) and vocal jazz unlike anyone else. She played in the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra from age 13-17 playing the violin, age 18-20 on the clarinet, and then played viola with the St. Louis Philharmonic summer pops, and continued playing violin in orchestras, chamber groups, and even some bands on electric violin, including country and jazz groups. Today, Marla plays the violin, clarinet, and saxophone in The Bonaventure Quartet. She also performs regularly with Society Express, Emrah Kotan & New Anatolian Experience, Dixieland Bands, Joe Grandsen’s Big Band, her own Klezmer Band called the Marlatov Cocktails, and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to see one of the most talented jazz musicians around today.
