Industry veteran Andrew Borges has joined the City Springs staff leading the culinary team at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and the City’s conference center located within the new City Hall. Mr. Borges previously held similar positions at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and Citi Field in Flushing, New York.
Under his leadership, the Food and Beverage department will deliver unique food and beverage experiences focused on regional flavors, quality ingredients, and seasonally driven menus. Menus will feature a mix of classic southern favorites with unique twists, as well as contemporary offerings highlighting some of the best local ingredients. For example, modern “pub” food, craft beers, wine, and classic cocktails will be on the menu at the CityBar.
The on-site food and beverage caterers will be able to offer custom-crafted menus for meetings and social events that will take place in the conference center and the versatile Studio Theater.
The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center includes the 1,070-seat Byers Theatre, a 400-seat Studio Theatre, Conference Center and Rooftop Terrace event space, and the City Green programmable park.
